The Louisiana Recreation & Parks Association awards program has sought to recognize outstanding performance in the field for over a decade. Applications are accepted each winter, and recipients are recognized at the annual conference.

Student Scholarship
Scholarship(s) are awarded annually to deserving student(s). The student must be recommended by a member in good standing of the Louisiana Recreation and Park Association. The student must be sincere in pursuing a degree in a Health/Physical Education/Recreation career.
The application deadline for 2013 scholarships has not been determined. Applications for January 2013 are being accepted.
